Taming the Vampire (Blood and Absinthe, #1)

Taming the Vampire (Blood and Absinthe, #1) - Chloe Hart Novellas are so hit and miss. Fortunately, "Taming the Vampire" is a hit. It's got a sexy vampire, Jack, and a fae warrior, Liz. The two profess to hate each other. And they express it frequently. TOO frequently for my taste. To defeat an enemy, Liz must take part in a ritual that involves having sex with Jack. At this point, I decided to set aside my "Huh?" reaction and just enjoy the ride. Not that there was any doubt, but Jack proves to be an amazing lover, and the hatred between the two does not last for long.

I enjoyed the writing enough to check out the second in the series, featuring Liz's friend, Celia. Bound by the Vampire: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Blood and Absinthe, Book 2)
