Taken By Moonlight

Taken By Moonlight - Dorothy McFalls This is my second Dorothy McFalls story, after her similarly enjoyable novel, The Huntress. I'm always impressed by authors who manage to pack a fully developed story into a novella, and McFalls does that with "Taken By Moonlight."

The story is set in 1813 in London. Young Lady Amelia has been experiencing unusual yearnings, made more intense by the attentions of the darkly mysterious Lord Carew. I love the paranormal romance genre, and McFalls does it well here. The sensual aspects are also extremely well-written, just as they were in "The Huntress." A bit of a twist featuring Amelia's parents was a bit too pat for me, but that is just a tiny quibble in this very sexy novella.
