In "Insurgent," picking up right where "Divergent" left off, Tris forms new alliances and makes new enemies, and the stage is set for a major clash in part 3. Despite non-stop action and some surprising revelations, I was not drawn into this book as readily as I was with "Divergent." The story ends abruptly on a huge cliff-hanger, and I'm sure it's going to be a long wait for the finale.
I noticed in the acknowledgments that Summit Entertainment (the producers of the Twilight films) was thanked by Veronica Roth. Not surprising, as the trilogy seems tailor-made for a film adaptation.
