The Walking Dead, Vol. 15: We Find Ourselves

The Walking Dead, Vol. 15: We Find Ourselves - Robert Kirkman ***Note - contains spoilers from Volume 14***

Volume 15 of "The Walking Dead," opens with the survivors doing some zombie disposal after the mass extermination in Volume 14, while Carl's life hangs in the balance. Rick has an epiphany; he had put the needs of his family ahead of the needs of the community as a whole, and we know how that worked out. He decides that he can better protect Carl by keeping the whole community safe. It makes sense, and it's a shame he didn't think of this a long time ago!

I've been getting tired of Rick's continued waffling - either be a leader or step aside, and a group of survivors share this same frustration. Kirkman did a great job stoking the tension in these scenes. But I cringed over the final scene in "We Find Ourselves" as it looks like the LAST romance I wanted to see is about to happen. I'm hoping this was just a fleeting moment and that this progresses no further.
